    General description (or Mission Statement): Everest Academy believes that the parent has the best interests of their children at heart. We believe that the parent is the first and only teacher that a child needs. In keeping with this philosophy, we wish to be a very hands-off cover school and allow the parent to lead and guide their children in the direction and at the pace they feel is best suited to their children. We ask only for what the law requires while offering support along with quality resources to aid families in their efforts.

    Requirements: Application for enrollment and grades and attendance records due at time of graduation or transference. Must keep attendance and report any unexcused absences.

    Fees: $200 new enrollees/ $100 reenrollment per family per year.

    Services: Year round calendar, field trips, weekly newsletter with tons of resources and activities, graduation/awards ceremony, three levels of diploma, Teen Scene, Jr. Teen Scene, iServe Community Service Club, American Girl Club, Lego Club, Nerf Club, online community, sponsored park days, transcripts, support of all teaching methods including traditional and unschooling, and much more.
