Gibson - Karen M.
Karen lives and learns with her family in Florida. They have enjoyed the freedom of home education since 1996. Her three children have graduated from homeschooling and she is currently seeing unschooling in action with her granddaughter. Gibson - Roberta
Roberta earned a Master's degree in Entomology from Cornell University. After taking a position with the University of Arizona, she worked closely with the Cooperative Extension Master Gardener program teaching gardening and entomology. She also helped 4-H and homeschool groups with insect projects and developed a set of lesson plans about honey bees (http://ag.arizona.edu/pubs/insects/ahb/). She is now a writer of children's nonfiction and occasional freelance speaker, in addition to stay-at-home mom.
