    • We have on occasion enrolled students from a distant Alabama county. In such a situation each enrollment case is evaluated individually.

    General description (or Mission Statement): Empowering Parents to Raise Godly Leaders

    Requirements:

    • Curriculum Choice: Parents are free to choose their own curriculum to meet the needs of the individual student/family.
    • Number of school days – strongly suggested 175 days
    • Schooling hours: not regulated, but most families follow the hours of the traditional school setting
    • single parents/working parents welcome
    • family members other than parents being the main teacher/caretaker - welcome
    • Church attendance / Religion requirement – Church attendance and a specific religion are not required, but the family must be able to agree to, and support, our Statement of Faith.
    • Progress reports, grades, testing, required meetings with parents – Check-ins are required with the families and the school team leaders on specified days throughout the year.

    Fees: Enrollment fee and Tuition fees are available at the Cottage Hill Christian School website.

    1. Parent support group meetings on Monday (S.A.L.T. – Sharing Asking Learning Teaching)
    2. Online assessments in reading and math
    3. benchmark assessment upon enrollment
    4. Formal high school graduation

    Additional Info: Our family list is divided into smaller groupings with an assigned team leader who serves to support the family throughout the school year. Our office staff is readily available for additional support.
