    DaytonAreaHomeschoolers (Dayton Area Homeschoolers) - All are welcome to join this free group. There are no requirements to join, and no boards or committees. We are an informal, inclusive group of homeschoolers, or those interested in learning more about homeschool, in the Dayton Ohio area. We have no religious affiliation. The main idea: to share info, go on field trips, teach or participate in co-op classes in all subjects, support each other in whatever method of homeschooling we use. The main goal is to have fun learning with our children. Members are encouraged to plan and organize whatever events interest them and invite the others to join in. This is a group-run organization. Feel free to plan a Park Day, Field Trip or Tour for the group. Help yourself to the valuable FREE resources in the Links and Files, and check the Calendar for upcoming outings. We no longer have regular monthly meetings, but continue to plan outings through this site.

    DaytonCatholicHomeschoolNetwork (Dayton Catholic Homeschool Network) - The Dayton Catholic Homeschool Network is a site where families of the Miami Valley can network. This group's primary purpose is to facilitate communication about events and other items of interest to the Dayton Catholic Homeschool community.

    Families are welcome to post play dates, gym days, nature walks, religious events, etc. they want to invite others to.

    Community events such as concerts, ticket information, or homeschool days may be posted here too, so long as the event is Catholic or homeschool related and not contrary to a love for the Catholic Church.

    Members are also welcome to post books or other items they want to sell or purchase. Books/tapes/CD's posted for sale must be from publishers known to reflect accurately the teachings of the Catholic Church.

    This forum will be Catholic in tone and content. The purpose of the Dayton Catholic Homeschool Network is facilitating communication among homeschooling families and assiting them in finding the resources they need to homeschool well.

    Membership is primarily intended for Catholic Homeschool families in the greater Dayton, Ohio area. However, those who hope to become Catholic, homeschooling and residents of the Dayton Area are welcome to join too.

    DYHS (Dayton Young Homeschoolers) - An inclusive network of "pre-homeschoolers" in the Dayton, Ohio area. DYHS focuses on activities and outings for children ages 3-6 and their parent(s)/guardian(s). Older and younger siblings are welcome to attend, and people of all faiths are welcome to join. Many activities occur in the south Dayton, Ohio area. Members can post ideas and invitations for get-togethers at any time.
