- Rainbow_Explorers (The Well) - Welcome to The Well, the e-mail list for members of Arizona’s Rainbow Explorers-a Christian homeschool support group for African-American families in the Greater Phoenix area.
The Well is the place for parents to share homeschooling resources, stay current on local events and activities, and in general discuss issues pertaining to our faith, culture and community and how they color our homeschooling adventure.
Rainbow Explorers was formed in response to the need for a Christian homeschool support group which welcomes and delights in our unique culture and experiences. Rainbow Explorers meets weekly for park days and hosts regular field trips. Our purpose is twofold:
- To model Christ by using Biblical principles in our relationships with others;
- To provide resources and fun activities for African-American homeschoolers.
Rainbow Explorers is a self-directed support group, meaning we all pitch in and make it work! If you have a fun activity, favorite place to visit, or idea for a field trip, let the group know and those that can will join you :-) Everyone is free to plan events and add activities to the calendar.

- SLArizona (SL Arizona) - We are a group of homeschoolers using, have used, or are interested in using Sonlight Curriculum, Winter Promise Curriculum, or some other version of a literature based curriculum.
Focus: Our primary goal is to provide homeschoolers with a group of open minded individuals and families who want to come together and share there experiences in a safe environment where they can learn from one another's experiences and use what fits their family. We strive to provide an environment where Arizona homeschoolers can feel comfortable coming together, sharing there feelings and experiences and learning from one another through meetings, online discussions, field trips, etc...
Activities: Our group provides several chapters around the state for the convenience of its members. Each group will have it own park day, classes, and other area specific events. We will come together for bigger things such as field trips, Special Events, Moms Night Out, Dads Night Out, Family Fun Events, and Email Support.
REMEMBER the group is what YOU make of it! Welcome to Sonlight Arizona!

Membership in Summit View is restricted to families living in the East Valley, who are currently homeschooling at least one child (age 4 or older). - summitview-west (Summit View - West Valley) - Summit View Homeschool Cooperative was formed to offer encouragement and support to the entire homeschooling family (Moms Dads too).
Summit View was founded in the East Valley in 1999. In 2002, due to the request for more secular homeschool support groups, we branched out into the West Valley.
This group serves the West Valley cities of Phoenix, Glendale, Avondale, Litchfield, Tonopah and other westside communities.
This group currently needs a leader. If you would like to get involved with this support group, please contact Tracey Amino at tamino @ cox.net (without the spaces). You can view our East Valley group and see what we're up to over there. We can help you get started with something similar in the West Valley.
