- ALINDHS - This email list is for those in Alabama whose home/family church sponsors the church school through which they home educate their children. Many of us refer to this as "being our own covering." Those and only those, who have already begun such a venture are invited to subscribe this list.
For discussion of the possibility of church school sponsorship by a home or family church, one should consult other sources such as AICSA and its email list.
For church schools offering enrollment to more than approximately 10 families, regardless whether sponsored by a home/family church or not, other lists, such as DACS, will better address their situation.

We are tolerant of all religion and request that new members keep that in mind when joining.
Spam is not allowed. That means mass forwards and items that have nothing to do with homeschooling. When in doubt, contact the moderator and ask prior to posting.
All new members will be on moderated status until they 1) introduce themselves to the group or 2) send a private e-mail of intro to the moderator. This helps keep our list clean of spammers.

- CAIH (Central Alabama Independent Homeschools) - This group is open to anyone homeschooling, or interested in homeschooling, but primarily we are interested in other homeschooling families located in or near Central Alabama. As the name implies, this group is primarily for those of us who have chosen to homeschool under our own umbrella, without the use of a cover school. As such, it is our goal to use this group as a tool to meet parents in similar circumstances to discuss issues, curriculums, challenges etc. Also, this could be a springboard to meet others for the purpose of occasional get-togethers and fieldtrips for the kids. If any of this interests you, join up and join in!!!

- ceacademy (Contemporary Education Academy) - We believe that learning starts at home with one student at a time. CE Academy combines this orginal American education process with current internet technology advances. In this combination, our purpose is to reduce school administrative overhead, increase networking potential and to allow maximim growth for the family and student. We more importantly believe that the parents are totally responsible for their family's education and that it is a God given right (Deuteronomy 6). Your family's education and final acceptance is judged by our Lord and your own convictions. This in essence, is our ministry as part of Covenant of Peace Church in Huntsville, Al.
All are welcome to join us at CE Academy at anytime from anywhere during the year. Our yearly enrollment process.
If you are new to homeschooling check out our Just Getting Started link.
Take time to go through the Links at the left to obtain a more complete review of homeschooling. Homeschooling starts with learning how to homeschool. And it starts with the parents and/or guardians.
We always look forward to serving you and your family in its' life long journey. Remember everyone homeschools; it is just a matter of what degree. God Speed and God Bless you.
